SafetyNeb-Whisker™ PPE

Filtered nebulizer mask with perminantly mounted extra large filters and our patent pending dosage tracking tabs.

Each mask is usable for 12ml of medication. The 'Whiskers' are innovative dosage tracking tabs that assist in keep track of filter saturation. Each of the four tabs is removed each time a 3ml treatment is administered. Once all the tabs are removed the mask should be safely discarded.

The SafetyNeb-Whisker™ PPE is availble in adult and pediatric kits with and without tubing. Unlike the SafetyNeb+™ mask kits, the SafetyNeb-Whisker™ PPE does not include the SafetyFit™ faceplate or internal padding. The Whisker™ mask is a low-cost solution (~$3/each) in any clinical setting

Important considerations

SafetyNeb+™, SafetyNeb-Whisker™, SafetyFilta™ and SafetyFit™ devices should only be used as additional protective devices in conjunction with other PPEs, and in accordance with clinical guidelines. The user should watch for any leakage and reposition the mask and tighten the elastic to eliminate any such leakage. The patient should be instructed not to speak or move the mask once it has been attached, so as to maintain optimal seal. The patient’s breathing should be monitored.
